Following the April acquisition of Innovative Insurance Brokers in Wagga Wagga NSW, we are excited and pleased to formally announce the acquisition of two further businesses; Insurance House 360 located in Port Macquarie (current IH Authorised Representative) and Insurance Hub in Tamworth, both joining the group on 1 July 2017.
For almost 4 years Michael Huxley and Scott Leis have forged a key position in the market as one of the most prominent and customer centric businesses on the Mid North NSW Coast and the merge with IHG will see the business fast track its plans to truly embed itself in the local community.
Michael, as Senior Account Manager, will manage the Port Macquarie office, with Allen Lance and Luke Hawkes as Account Brokers. Chris Mansfield will be a new addition to the team effective mid-July in the role of Account Manager. Chris is known to many of the IH360 customers and comes to the group with a wealth of financial, insurance and customer centric skills. The Port Macquarie team will fall under the Rural Broking division managed by National Rural Broking Manager, Danielle Ritchie.
We are pleased to announce that Scott Leis will be taking up the role of Head of Metro Broking, based in Brisbane. Scott brings with him extensive executive leadership experience both from a previous role at Westpac as their Head of Commercial and Agribusiness NSW and also through his own leadership business, ‘The Ragged Mile.’
The team will remain at Level 1, 26 Clarence Street, Port Macquarie and all local phone numbers and email addresses will carry over.
After what has been a big year for Insurance House in the rural broking space, a major acquisition in Tamworth confirms Insurance House’s place as one of the largest privately owned insurance brokerages in Australia and a force to be reckoned with.
Insurance Hub will join the Insurance House Group from 1 July 2017 in a move that will redefine the local insurance landscape, as two of the strongest and most respected local firms in Northwest NSW Region converge.
As always, a main priority will be to ensure a seamless transition for Insurance Hub clients and staff as they come across on 1 July. Joining Lucy Robertson and the existing Insurance House Tamworth team will be Wendy Cheetham, Tammy Stephenson, Will Mitchell and Insurance Hub Directors Garron Pannan and Paul Manvell. As with IH360 the Tamworth branch will also fall under the Rural Broking division managed by National Rural Broking Manager, Danielle Ritchie.
Insurance Hub was started by Garron’s father Don Pannan, in 1988. Don retired in 2011 and Garron, who had returned to the business a year earlier, took over Insurance Hub along with Paul, and the brokerage has continued to go from strength to strength.
For the time being the business will continue from its current location at 15 Brisbane Street, Tamworth, but in due course our existing Tamworth staff will come across to join the new team.
The main priority is to ensure a seamless transition for Insurance House 360 & Insurance Hub clients come 1 July and reinforce the message that it will be business as usual, with minimal to no disruption to their existing broking and support teams.
