Insurance House Pty Ltd (IHG) was established in Echuca (Rural Victoria) in 1983 and since then has created a very strong presence throughout Australia.

IHG has experienced extraordinary growth in the past decade with offices now located in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and a strong rural presence in Queensland, NSW and of course we have not forgotten our country origins in Northern Victoria. IHG now has grown from humble beginnings to become one of Australia's fastest growing Insurance intermediaries highlighted by:

• Directly employing 90 highly qualified staff.
• Over 23,500 clients throughout Australia and SE Asia.
• Premium turnover now exceeding A$140m.
• Significantly close relationships with Lloyd's and worldwide insurance markets.
• And handling insurance programs for some of the region's largest private and publicly listed companies.

In 2003 IHG recognised our growing professional risks client base, and were successful in negotiating a professional indemnity underwriting binder with Lloyds. This was the birth of Professional Risks Underwriting Pty Ltd (ProRisk), a fully owned subsidiary to IHG. This business continues to grow and has now diversified into professional indemnity, directors and officers, general liability, medical malpractice, accident and illness, property, marine, as well as complicated classes such as financial institutions.

IHG also owns Investment House (Echuca) Pty Ltd which is a specialist life risk broking operation. This business allows IHG to provide a full insurance service to our clients - all insurance products can be acquired 'under the one roof'.
